FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of cleaning transformer iron consists in washing with xylene and toluene solution, induction heating in thin atmosphere, as well as in washing after heating with acetone and benzene solution at temperature of solvent in boiling point region. Preliminary washing is carried out with solution, which consists of toluene in quantity from 30 wt % to 70 wt % and xylene in quantity from 30 wt % to 70 wt %. Induction heating is carried out to temperature from 90°C to 150°C with depression in transformer chamber 1 kgf/cm2, and heating is realised for the time period from 30 min to 120 min. The following washing of transformer iron is carried out with solution of acetone in quantity from 30 wt % to 70 wt % and benzene in quantity from 30 wt % to 70 wt % at temperature of solution from 30°C to 70°C.

EFFECT: reduction of cleaning time, reduction of quantity of liquid quantity, with quality of cleaning of transformer coils making it possible to reapply coils in composition of transformer.
