FIELD: coal processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coal hydrogenation product processing and may be used in petroleum processing and by-product-coking industries. Processing of liquid coal hydrogenation products boiling above 300°C, containing up to 15% solid phase and 9-20% asphaltenes, and possessing structural viscosity 0.01-0.75 Pa.s (80°C) comprises separating starting products into liquid product and first residue via filtration or centrifugation, or hydrocyclonation, or vacuum distillation. First residue boiling above 300°C, containing 15-30% solid phase and 22-25% asphaltenes, and possessing structural viscosity 0.15-0.9 Pa.s (80°C) is subjected to subsequent separation by vacuum distillation or extraction into liquid products and second residue boiling above 300°C, containing 30-50% solid phase and possessing structural viscosity 0.5-1.5 Pa.s (80°C).Vacuum distillation residue is additionally subjected to extraction to isolate solid residue and liquid product.
EFFECT: increased yield of liquid fractions.
