FIELD: coal processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process of preparing water-coal suspension from different coals for subsequent transportation thereof through pipeline followed by combustion of suspension. Process is accomplished by grinding wet coal with water at 30-90°C in disperser operated at high power intensity equal to 0.5-1.5 kW/L. Resulting suspension containing desired amount of solid phase is heated to 100-145°C at pressure 2-15 atm and then to 200-300°C at pressure 50-100 atm. After barometric treatment, pressure is lowered to atmospheric value resulting in formation of target product with specified content of solid phase.
EFFECT: increased content of coal constituent in suspension at relatively low viscosity.
