FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; preparation of charge compositions on base of iron-containing finely-dispersed metallurgical waste for melting cast iron, steel and ferro-alloys.
SUBSTANCE: iron-containing finely-dispersed waste, carbon-containing fines and binder are mixed, molded and are kept in moist medium for 20-25 hours. Used as iron-containing finely-dispersed waste is mixture of dust of gas cleaning process of steelmaking and fine magnetic product extracted from steelmaking slag at ratio of 1:12; used as binder is greasy scale and lime. Ratio of components in briquette is as follows, mass-%: greasy scale, 15-35; lime, 5-10; carbon-containing fines, 5-15; iron-containing fine-grained waste, 40-75.
EFFECT: possibility of utilization of metallurgical process waste; low cost of production of briquettes.
