FIELD: underground rock and reservoir study.
SUBSTANCE: method involves taking fluid with downhole instrument having sample taking chamber and fluid sample taking means; measuring time-varying pressure in time-changing downhole instrument volume; determining corresponding time-dependent fluid flow-rate; performing regression analysis on the base of sum of pressure values determined in downhole instrument volume and sum of fluid flow rate values; determining rock porosity, fluid compressibility and viscosity, as well as reservoir pressure from said regression analysis.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of reservoir parameter determination due to precise pressure and fluid measurement data interpretation and correlation.
