SUBSTANCE: proposed systems and methods in which methods of data compression are used for filling of predetermined communication channel capacity. In order to transmit data in communication channel, points of events data are chosen within test data. In order to identify other data points within test data and filling of predetermined communication channel capacity, data decimator is used. Mentioned data decimator may use one or several variables to choose data to transmit. At that one or several variables are preferably tuned in iterations of decimator to choose optimal or somehow desirable subset of data for transmission. Data decimators may additionally or alternatively perform proper function of "growth" to choose certain data for transmission and/or quantity of transmitted data.
EFFECT: improving accuracy and speed of data transmission from well to surface.
