FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed connector that can be used for connecting DC and/or AC circuit conductors to function as electric plugs for insulating leads of lead-in conductors has each of conductors to be connected disposed between one of blocks hinged to loose end of torsional coil spring and common current-conductive jumper. Jumper and blocks form clamp disposed in insulating case assembled of two dissymmetrical parts joined together. Such mechanical design of connector provides for maintaining desired contact pressure actually constant throughout entire service life and for more comprehensive use of contact springs, it is characterized in more technologically effective design of base members and more reasonable use of conductive jumper material.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced reliability of contact, reduced manufacturing cost and maintenance charges.
