FIELD: physics; conductors.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for connecting conductors in direct and (or) alternating current circuits as pegs, terminal blocks, electrical joints, plug connections of printed circuit boards, adapters, multipliers and electrical plugs. In the electrical cable connectors, the connected cables are placed each between one dentil (or structural member of a contact spring) and a common conducting jumper. The conducting jumper and dentils (or structural member of a contact spring) form a clamp which is placed inside a case made from electrically insulating material.
EFFECT: wider field of use, increased reliability of connecting electrical cables, automatic provision for the required contact pressure by a virtually permanent connector, reduced expenses on manufacturing and operation, complete utilisation of contact springs, more technologically effective design of case components, more efficient use of material of the conducting jumper.
