FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as electric receptacles, terminal blocks of electric machines, insert for electric lamp holder. In electric wire connector, connected electric wires are fitted each between one of the split cones pivotally attached to free end of coiled torsion spring and common conductive path. Contact spring may be made of rectangular wire and contain one incomplete turn which on one end terminates with fastening segment and on the other end - with working arm. Free end of working arm goes around incomplete circle and passes into linear working segment. Free end of linear working segment in its turn goes around incomplete circle and passes into retainer. In this case the clamp is formed by linear working segment of contact spring and by current-conducting jumper-wire. Clamps are located in casing consisting of base and cover and made of dielectric material.
EFFECT: automatic providing virtually constant value of necessary contact pressing for all its service life, increase in reliability of electric contact when electric wires are connected and reduction in expenditures for connector manufacturing and operation.
