FIELD: floating off-shore platforms.
SUBSTANCE: proposed floating off-shore platform is formed from many butt-connected sections. Each section of floating off-shore platform has flat round thick plate with central round opening in it. Round thick plate is connected with many bent rigidity members and many radial girders connected in their turn with bent rigidity members. Inner plating is connected with central round opening in flat round thick plate. Many longitudinal girders pass along length of external periphery of inner plating and are radially spaced near external periphery of inner plating. Outer plating is connected with external periphery of flat round thick plate. Many longitudinal girders are connected with internal periphery of outer plating and are discontinued near flat round thick plate and near radial girders. Internal periphery of outer plating and longitudinal girders are connected with auxiliary panel-type strengthening structure. Inner and outer platings form watertight seals at points of joint with flat round thick plate.
EFFECT: updating of structure of floating off-shore platforms.
