SUBSTANCE: the invention presents the glass used mainly in the instrument making. The technical purpose of the invention is to reduce the temperature of the glass melting. The invention provides, that the glass has the following composition (in mass %): SiO₂ - 30.0-34.0; Al₂O₃ - 10.0-15.0; СаО - 35.0-40.0; ZnO - 1.0-2.0; СаО - 3.0-5.0; ВаО - 10.0-15.0. The glass allows to reduce power inputs in its production.

EFFECT: the invention ensures reduction of the power inputs at the glass production.
