SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 2.7-3.3; silicon, 0.7-1.3; manganese, 2.7-3.3; chromium, 14.0-18.0; zirconium, 0.1-0.2; titanium, 0.1-0.2; nitrogen, 0.1-0.2; molybdenum, 2.0-3.0; copper, 1.0-1.5; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced wear resistance of cast iron.
