SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of cast iron. Proposed cast iron comprises components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 2.5-3.5; silicon, 0.5-1.0; manganese, 4.0-5.0; chrome, 14.0-18.0; vanadium, 0.1-0.3; yttrium, 0.1-0.2; copper, 1.0-1.5; niobium, 0.3-0.5; zirconium, 0.3-0.5; nitrogen, 0.1-0.15; titanium, 0.3-0.5; barium, 0.005-0.015, and iron, the balance. Using the invention provides the enhanced strength and abrasion resistance of cast iron.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of cast iron.
