SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 2.8-3.2; silicon, 0.3-0.8; manganese, 1.0-1.5; nickel, 1.5-2.5; chromium, 1.2-1.8; boron, 0.2-0.3; titanium, 0.15-0.35; molybdenum, 2.0-3.0; barium, 0.008-0.012; nitrogen, 0.1-0.2; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced hardness and wear resistance.
