SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, and namely to cast iron compounds. Cast iron component ratio is as follows, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.5; silicon 1.5-2.0; manganese 2.0-2.5; titanium 0.1-0.3; cuprum 0.5-1.0; nickel 0.3-0.8; barium 0.008-0.012; molybdenum 1.0-1.5; boron 0.08-0.12; tungsten 0.9-1.1; selenium 0.001-0.005; and iron - the rest.
EFFECT: improving cast iron resistance to wear and tear.
