SUBSTANCE: proposed high-strength cast iron contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 3.0-3.5; silicon, 0.7-1.3; manganese, 0.5-1.0; phosphorus, 0.04-0.08; cerium, 0.1-0.2; aluminum, 0.1-0.2; calcium, 0.005-0.01; titanium, 0.1-0.2; boron, 0.05-0.1; copper, 0.8-1.2; molybdenum, 3.0-4.0; vanadium, 0.5-1.0; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced strength of cast iron.
