SUBSTANCE: the invention presents the steel of the following composition (in mass %): carbon - 0.8-1.2, silicon - 0.3-0.8, manganese - 0.3-0.8, chromium - 14.0-16.0, molybdenum - 2.0-3.0, tungsten - 0.8-1.2, rare-earth metal - 0.1-0.2, magnesium - 0.01-0.02, tellurium - 0.001-0.002, boron - 0.1-0.2, zirconium -0.1-0.2, iron - the rest. The invention allows to increase the wear capacity of the steel.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased wear resistance of the steel.
