SUBSTANCE: the inflatable balloon has an envelope made of translucent flexible material and inflated by air mast extending from the ground to the upper pole of the envelope for supporting the envelope, illuminating means having at least one electric lamp located inside the envelope, means of lamp power supply, and an electropneumatic inflating means for inflation of the envelope. The upper part of the mast extends vertically thorough the envelope for imparting of static stiffness to the envelope at the levers diametrically opposite the lower pole and the upper pole, the mast is made hollow through the whole height of the mast and has at least one outlet for air in the upper part for inflation of the envelope by the electropneumatic means. The electropneumatic means has a fan of adjustable capacity located in the electric power supply cabinet in the mast base and electric-coupled to the control unit, the coupling passes inside the mast. The inflatable balloon has in addition a means for determining the wind speed outside the envelope, and a control unit connected to the means for determining the wind speed and used for control of the electropneumatic means. The control unit is intended to produce either a signal to raise the inflation pressure, or a signal to reduced the inflation pressure. The means for detecting the wind speed has an anemometer located in the upper part speed has an anemometer located in the upper part of the balloon. The mast has a cavity positioned under the atmospheric pressure for placing the ballast resistor and the lamp starting circuit. The cavity is separated from the inside dust of the mast by a plug of foamed material for provision of current maintenance of the ballast resistor and the starting circuit without interruption of pressure maintenance in the envelope.
EFFECT: produced inflatable luminous balloon with a high-volume envelope having an optimum stability in wind irrespective of the mast height.
