FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used for measurement of linear movements of objects, in particular, of measurement of thickness of items. Device has electromagnet converter in form of ferrous core provided with inductance winding, lever with support rollers, shaft, measuring device, ac voltage source. Microcontroller, provided with analog-to-digital converter, microprocessor, keyboard and dc voltage source, is introduced into device additionally. Electromagnet converter is provided with second inductance winding connected with analog-to-digital converter of microcontroller. Voltage from output of microprocessor of microcontroller enters measuring device. Lever with electromagnet converter and support rollers is mounted at angle of 20-30° in relation to vertical axis of shaft for rotation.

EFFECT: improved precision of measurement.
