FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises exciting signal generator, eddy-current transformer-coupled converter with ferrite core, excitation winding and opposed measuring and compensation windings, which midpoint is connected to the zero circuit, the first and second amplifiers, phase detector, low-frequency filter, amplitude detector and microcontroller with analogue-to-digital converter. The above technical result is attained by usage of two capacitors in measuring and compensation windings to ensure resonant operation mode for the eddy-current transformer-coupled converter as well as double-channel analogue switch with voltage switch to switch measuring channels computing difference in the measurements results during two steps of the conversion cycle.
EFFECT: increasing measurement sensitivity and accuracy for electroconductive coating.
