FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves studying specific monoamine oxidase activity in blood platelets in peripheral blood. Prolonged action of adverse environment factor action causes specific monoamine oxidase activity reduction in population living in regions with harmful ecological situation. The value of specific monoamine oxidase activity indices are equal to 0.53±0.06 U/mg and 0.61±0.05 U/mg in regions of critical and stressed ecological situation, respectively, whereas the value is equal to 0.14±0.13 U/mg in regions of favorable ecological situation.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in detecting persons subjected to harmful influence of environment.
