FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: population groups to be compared are selected. The values of the following laboratory marker indicators of thyroid disorders are determined in each examined person from both groups: free thyroxine (T4); thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH); antibodies to thyroglobulin (AB to TG); antibodies to thyroid peroxidase (antibodies to TPO). Also, the marker indicators of thyroid gland (TG) ultrasound are determined for the presence or absence of an increase in its volume above/below the physiological norm, a violation of its structure and/or blood flow. For each group, an average value is determined for each marker. For quality indicators, average values are found, taking the "zero" value in the absence of deviations from normal, and the "one" value in the event of deviations from the specified norm. Using the indicated average values for each marker, the contribution of each of them to thyroid disorders formation is determined. To do this, the parabolic law is used to determine the deflection function Fi, where Fi∈[0; 1], for each 1st marker. Each average marker diagnostic index is given an expert weighting factor Ci. The value of the integral index P is computed for the aggregate of these marker indicators for each population group to be compared, according to the claimed formula. Then, the established integral indices are compared for each group, and those that are characterized by a larger value of the integral index are considered to be a group with a higher risk of thyroid disorders formation at the population level.
EFFECT: method allows to conduct an informative and demonstrative comparative integral evaluation of thyroid disorders formation at the population level, to judge the differences in the conditions of impact of various negative factors due to a comprehensive evaluation of the most significant indices.
