FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, automatic circuit breakers.
SUBSTANCE: the automatic circuit breaker has a body with a cover, free release mechanism with a strip and a lever, which in addition has a clamp engaged with the lever, this engagement is accomplished through a roller for its displacement. A thermal and an electromagnetic maximum-current release devices are installed in each pole. The electromagnetic release device has a spring-loaded armature with an adjusting screw and is coupled to the movable control of the contact system by a flexible current conductor. Tension springs are fixed on both sides of the movable contact fastened on the live axle, their axes of fixing are located for transition through the dead center located on the contact live axle at the instant of rejection of the contact.
EFFECT: enhanced speed of response and reliability of operation, simplified procedure of assembly.
