FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: automatic breaker is intended for protection of electric circuits against short-circuit and overload currents. Breaker comprises body (1) with cover (2). Contact system (3) is separated in each pole of breaker into two parallel parts (4), every of which has its arc-quenching chamber (19). Heat (10) and electromagnet (11) splitters of maximum current are electrically connected to each other by means of complex-shaped bracket (13) and have link (17) for redistribution of currents. Bracket (13) has parallel protrusions, one of which is connected to thermal splitter (10), and the second one is current distributor for electromagnet splitter (11). Sections of bracket (13) parallel leads that directly adjoin link (17) serve for connection of flexible current distributors (12) of movable contacts (7). Disconnection of breaker is carried out with the help of two trip-release mechanisms (20) and (24), which are controlled by common handle (30).
EFFECT: higher reliability and stability of actuation of electromagnet splitters of breaker in case of short-circuit currents, simplified design and reduced labour intensity of breaker manufacturing.
