FIELD: feed production, in particular, grain germination for producing of green feed useful in feeding of all kinds of animals.
SUBSTANCE: method involves producing green feed from feeder grain by mixing grain with sapropel and laying said mixture onto trays for providing grain germination, with sapropel being used in an amount of 50-70% by basic grain weight; providing grain germination under natural light conditions; upon expiring of 8-10-day germination period, when weight of green mass reaches 30% of base weight, withdrawing germinated grain together with base from sapropel.
EFFECT: increased nutrient value of feed and reduced cost of green feed production process.
