FIELD: agriculture, in particular, veterinary science, may be used for sanitary treatment of animals.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has sheep fold equipped with electric illumination devices and entrance gate, enclosures for passage of sheep to bath, disinfecting bath filled with disinfecting solution, and fold for disinfection treated sheep, said fold being provided with exit gate. Sheep passage enclosures are positioned at side opposite to entrance gate and are equipped with openings having latches. There are illumination devices in enclosures for dissipation of light flux toward opening. Self-breaking floors are fixed immediately after illumination devices by means of pivot joints and springs. Self-breaking floors are staggered with respect to one another. Illumination devices are arranged on each side and at the top of enclosures and are positioned within U-shaped casings.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by reducing stress exercised by animals upon feeding thereof into bath.
