FIELD: decorative art.
SUBSTANCE: the method consists in preliminary treatment of the wood material with application of the color-image on it with a subsequent hot pressing. The wood material is preliminarily dried during a month soaked in a ten-percent saline solution during 28 hours and dried up at a temperature of 40 C under a press. Then a warm-up is accomplished at a temperature of 200 C. After the pretreatment of the wood material of graphic representation is taken that had been preliminarily obtained by the computer method, points are applied on the image on a heat-resistant two-layer paper with a subsequent hot pressing with an effort of 60-90 kg/sq.cm and a delay of 125, and the back layer is removed from the two-layer paper with a subsequent cooling down.
EFFECT: enhanced form stability of the wood material with the applied pattern, provided ecologically pure situation at production.
