SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cast iron compositions. Proposed cast iron comprises components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 3.0-3.5; silicon, 1.0-1.5; manganese, 0.8-1.2; nickel, 3.0-4.0; copper, 0.8-1.2; chrome, 0.3-0.5; molybdenum, 3.5-4.5; magnesium, 0.005-0.01; vanadium, 1.8-2.2, and iron, the balance. Using the invention provides the enhanced strength of cast iron.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of cast iron.
