SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to content of cast iron. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.5; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 0.8-1.2; nickel 5.2-5.4; copper 1.4-1.8; chrome 0.3-0.5; molybdenum 0.5-0.9; magnesium 0.002-0.004; vanadium 0.7-1.1; boron 0.01-0.05; sodium 0.0001-0.00014; cerium 0.4-0.5; niobium 0.9-1.3; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: usage of invention provides hardening of cast iron.
