FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary internal combustion engines. Proposed method relates to conversion of energy of burning fuel in cylinders of internal combustion engine into rotation of shaft at which pistons execute oscillatory movements in cylinders are synchronized relative to each other and rotating cylinders relative to axis common for pistons and cylinders. Power to supply external consumers is taken from rotating cylinders. In proposed method use is made of circular synchronization of movement of cylinders and pistons by rack-and-gear group in which gears are engaged by movable and opposite racks with minimum two pistons at a time.
EFFECT: improved economy of engine.
