FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed connecting plug has body incorporating internal contact pin and at least one external contact radially spaced apart from internal contact pin relative to longitudinal axis of plug body. In this way plug body is based within base member which abuts against outer side of external contact by its internal side in vicinity of its front open contacting part so that axial movement of plug body relative to base member makes it possible for its external contact to abut against external contact of jack radially downwards. Plug body is disposed in base member for axial displacement; lever acting on body is disposed on main shroud for turning so that plug body actuated by lever moves relative to base member.
EFFECT: facilitated insertion of plug pins into receptacle jacks by means of one hand only which makes it convenient for use.
