FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to devices for indicating wear of friction linings of disc brakes. Wear indicating unit includes electrically conductive means which when reaching a first predetermined limit of wear of braking comes into electrical contact with brake disc. Electrically conductive device is elongated, and neighboring portion thereof being in mounted state is closest to brake disk portion forming with plane of brake disc an angle which lies between 0° and 90°. Brake pad support plate provided with an opening which is disposed coaxially with hole in friction pad. Both holes are used for partial accommodation of holder for an electrically conductive device. Disc brake comprising a brake shoe wear indicating unit.
EFFECT: higher reliability of device is achieved.
