FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly equipment for automatic fire-extinguishant supply in area to be controlled.
SUBSTANCE: method involves suspending elastic shell including vessel made as a single whole with shell and filled with fire-extinguishant over zone to be protected, wherein the elastic shell is connected to flexible tie. The shell and vessel are made of thick polyethylene film reinforced with elastic mesh from inside. The mesh creates cells uniformly distributed over total shell surface. Zone to be protected is sprinkled with fire-extinguishant through said cells. Flexible tie is wound about longitudinal axis of elastic shell after elastic shell suspension and is retained in standby state with fixer, which prevents flexible tie unwinding. The fixer is mounted on holding means over device zone to be controlled. As fire occurs elastic shell is damaged by blasting explosive charge loaded inside shell. Explosive charge blasting provides rapid pressure increase in shell and pressure distribution over elastic shell walls. As a result cells defined by mesh are deformed and opened for following fire-extinguishant sprinkling over zone to be protected. As cells are broken pressure inside shell rapidly decreases and some cells remain untouched, which leads to non-uniform fire-extingushant sprinkling over zone to be protected. To prevent non-uniform fire-extinguishant spraying device is rotated about device axis to equalize spray pattern.
EFFECT: increased uniformity of fire-extinguishant sprinkling.
