FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, namely combination apparatuses for grinding and surface plastic deforming of blanks having shaped surface and adjacent to it part of blank.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes tool with diamond-abrasive and deforming portions for acting upon blank at interference and attachment for mounting blank. Tool is in the form of sleeve with lengthwise groove for free passing of blank portion adjacent to its shaped surface. Diamond-abrasive and deforming portions of tool are arranged on working inner surface of said sleeve. The last includes diamond-abrasive intake lip for providing blank entering, deforming cone with angle φ = 3 - 5° and sizing portion for outlet of worked blank. Said sleeve is rigidly mounted in chuck of machine tool made with possibility of feed motion in direction normal to lengthwise axis of blank.

EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of apparatus, improved quality, accuracy of working blanks.
