FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device that contains individual drive with spindle, at which deforming element is fixed, helical cylindrical spring, which is wound with one end and rigidly fixed at spindle, and cartridge with slots, which is rigidly fixed on the other end of helical cylindrical spring is used. Deforming element is arranged in the form of ring, on the ends of which on its internal surface deforming part is installed in the form of toroidal surface and diamond-abrasive part in the form of truncated cone with diamond-abrasive layer. Two transverse axles are arranged on the external surface of ring, by means of which ring is installed in slots of cartridge with the possibility of deforming part or diamond-abrasive part turning to preform. Contact is provided between diamond-abrasive and deforming part of ring and processed surface of preform. Rotational movement is sent to preform. Rotational movement and feed-motion along longitudinal axis of device is sent to deforming element. At that longitudinal axis of device passes through the center of processed spherical surface and is installed at the angle to the plane that is perpendicular to preform longitudinal axis.

EFFECT: technological resources are expanded; efficiency, quality and precision of processing are increased.
