FIELD: the invention refers to the technology of machine building namely to modes of surface plastic deformation of blanks having shaped surface and the part of the blank conjugated with it.

SUBSTANCE: they give rotating movement to the blank relatively to its longitudinal axis. They impact on the blank with a deforming instrument to which apply static payload and periodic impulse load. The deforming instrument is used in the shape of a deforming bushing with a longitudinal groove for free passing of the blank conjugated with its shaped surface. The working inner surface of the deforming bushing has in the transversal section a form identical and responsive to the form of the longitudinal section of the processed blank and is fulfilled in the shape of an intake cone and a calibrating part. At that they provide entry of the blank into the bushing from the side of the intake cone and discharge of the processed blank from the side of its calibrating part.

EFFECT: increases productivity, quality and accuracy of processing of shaped surfaces.
