FIELD: manufacture of building materials; manufacture of building articles for protection against ionizing radiation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composition contains litharge glycerin cement - mixture of commercial glycerin, lead oxide and water; filler - waste of optical glass production process, anion-active modifying agent and aggregate - lead shot at size of particles of 5-6 mm. Used as filler is two-fraction mixture of optical glass production waste at mass ratio of fractions having particles of 1.25-2.5 mm in size and 0.05-0.14 mm in size equal to 3:2 at the following ratio of components, mass-%: commercial glycerin, 4.13-4.56; lead oxide, 30.00-33.15; water, 0.60-0.67; anion-active modifying agent, 0.30-0.33; filler, 3.58-3.96; aggregate, 56.39-62.33.
EFFECT: increased average density; reduction of water absorption; reduction of labor input; reduction of power requirements.
