FIELD: electrolyzers for electrolytic production and refining of non-ferrous metals such as copper.

SUBSTANCE: electric current supply unit includes equalizing bus with protruded contacts arranged on board of bath and detachable insulators arranged on bus. Said equalizing bus is made of two parts rigidly joined one to other; one part of bus carries different-height protrusions arranged mutually in parallel and mutually shifted along width. Insulators are solid ones and they are mounted on bus along its length. Both parts of bus have cross section in the form of angle. Insulators are mounted along length of bus in such a way that one insulator is arranged between said protruded contacts and second insulator is arranged at opposite side relative to larger protrusion. Height of insulator between said protruded contacts is equal to height of larger protrusion; height of second insulator is equal to height of small contact protrusion of bus.

EFFECT: simplified design of buses, lowered material consumption, increased strength of buses in comparison with known structures of electric current supply buses for electrolytic baths of the same designation.
