FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: heat-generating pump comprises disks mounted on the shaft between the housing faces with a spaced relation one with respect to the other. The faces of the disks are provided with at least two rows of hollows arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis of the shaft at various radii from the shaft. The housing faces are also provided with at least two rows of same hollows at radii shifted with respect to the hollows in the disks by a value close to the half distance between the radii of disk hollows. The radius of a hollow is chosen for permitting the hollows in the housing faces partially overlap the hollows in the disks when disk rotates.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
