FIELD: radio engineering, applicable in passive radio monitoring systems with multielement antenna arrays for search of transmitters using signals with a large base.

SUBSTANCE: the search efficiency is attained on the basis of complex two-dimensional mutual correlation functions used for space-frequency-time localization and identification of three principal classes of composite signals.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of search of composite signals with a priori unknown wave-form and frequency-time structure simultaneously emitted in the analyzed space-frequency-time region of reception by a great number of transmitters.
