FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: improvement of searching efficiency has been achieved owing to formation of multidimensional choice functions of distribution of signals with closed frequency-time localisation area, which have been pre-localised and identified as elements of composite signals, and use of formed distributions for detection and classification of the main types of composite signals.

EFFECT: improving searching efficiency of wide range of composite signals with time and energy concealment in conditions of a priori uncertainty relative to their shape and parametres.
