SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a composition for personal hygiene for topical applying on skin or hair and comprising the following components: (i) component based on branched primary alcohol comprising from 8 to 36 carbon atoms per a molecule and at average amount of branches at least 0.7 per a molecule but preferably from 0.7 to 3.0; this branch comprises preferably methyl and/or ethyl branches; this component based on branched primary alcohol comprises from 5% to 25% branches at position of carbon atom C2 relatively to carbon in hydroxyl group but preferably from 10% to 20% branches at position of carbon atom C2, and (ii) a cosmetically acceptable carrier. Proposed compositions for personal hygiene provides excellent stability, viscosity and rheological properties in combination with improved softening properties, applying and cutaneous senses.
