FIELD: aqueous media treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning solution from sediment-forming compounds, chiefly iron compounds, and can be used to clean any aqueous solutions, preferably bischofite brine. Method comprises treatment of solution with oxygen-containing oxidants, e.g. air oxygen, while, as oxidants, additionally active oxygen and alkaline and/or alkali-earth metal chromates are used. Air, when used, is heated to temperature above +25°C and active oxygen is used cold. Temperature of solution ranges from freezing point to +25°C. Chromates are used simultaneously with one of oxidants in amount no larger than 0.005 wt % based on chromic anhydride ion CrO4 -2 at pH of solution below 7.
EFFECT: ensured high quality of cleaning at simplified technology and lower expenses.
