FIELD: technology of silicates, glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of glass that can be used in instrument making and illumination engineering. Proposed glass comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 70.0-74.0; CaO, 5.0-10.0; MgO, 5.0-10.0; Na2O, 3.0-5.0; Mn3O4, 1.0-2.0, and B2O3, 6.0-9.0. Invention provides enhancing coefficient of thermal expansion of glass.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of glass.
