FIELD: ceramics, facing materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enamel compositions used for applying on articles made of steel and cast iron. Proposed enamel comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 50-55; Al2O3, 2.5-4; CaO, 10-14; Na2O, 4-5; K2O, 3-4; PbO, 1-2; MgO, 2-3; BaO, 1-2; TiO2, 4-5; CuO, 2-3, and B2O3, 10-13.5. Invention provides enhancing impact strength of enamel.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of enamel.
