FIELD: ceramics, facing materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enamel compositions used for applying articles made of steels, cast iron and other alloys. Proposed enamel comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 50.0-53.0; Al2O3, 3.0-4.0; CaO, 8.0-12.0; Na2O, 3.0-5.0; K2O, 3.0-5.0; PbO, 2.0-4.0; Mn2O3, 6.0-8.0; MgO, 3.0-5.0; Fe2O3, 1.0-2.0; TiO2, 7.0-9.0, and NiO, 3.0-4.0. Invention provides enhancing impact strength of enamel.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of enamel.
