FIELD: alternate fuels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of fuel emulsion from hydrocarbon fuel base and water supplemented by surfactant and modifier, which preparation comprises mixing hydrocarbon base with water, surfactant, and modifier and is characterized by that, as modifier, water-soluble oxidants are used and they are mixed with water prior to be added to fuel emulsion.
EFFECT: enabled preparation of storageable aggregatively stable fuel emulsion and reduced amount of harmful and toxic substances in exhaust gases after combustion of emulsion.
