METHOD OF CALCIUM SULPHATE CONVERSION Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC C01F11/18

Abstract RU 2553855 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry. Method includes successive interaction of calcium sulphate with ammonia solution and water solution, which contains carbonic acid anion. As calcium sulphate used is gypsum sludge, into which surface-active substances (SAS) from the group: as anion-active SAS - alkylsulphonate, cation-active SAS - bis-quaternary ammonium compound, non-ionogenic SAS - oxyethyleated monoalkylphenols, anphoteric SAS - alkylbetaine, are introduced into them in amount from 0.001 to 5%, counted per weight of initial calcium sulphate.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of gypsum wastes recycling with maximal output of valuable target products - ammonium sulphate or sodium sulphate and superfine calcium carbonate.
