FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is directed to preparation of porous alloy based on titanium nickelide through the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method and can be applied in medical engineering, e.g. for cryoapplicators and for making implants. Proposed alloy has volume porosity coefficient non-uniformly distributed in radial direction. Alloy is prepared by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis from a charge formed inside cylindrical fixture.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture of devices from alloys with structural irregularity and expanded functional possibilities of alloy.
