SUBSTANCE: production of porous metallic materials based on titanium nickelide, used in medical implantology. A method for producing a porous alloy based on titanium nickelide includes forming a charge from a mixture of titanium and nickel powders with a porosity of 45% to 50%, preheating to a temperature of 450-500° C, initiation of the SHS reaction, cooling and chemical etching in a solution of nitric and hydrofluoric acids, followed by washing. Etching is carried out by a single immersion for 1-2 s in an ultrasonic bath with an acid solution, and washing is carried out by immersion in water in an ultrasonic bath for 15-20 min at a power density of 180-220 W/dm3.

EFFECT: accelerated tissue germination and increased durability of functioning as an implant.
